2. Placement Process & Policies
2.1. Job Offers & Selection:
Once a student is selected in a company, they cannot appear for further placement drives unless they obtain prior approval from both the company where they received an offer and the Training & Placement Department.
A student may be allowed to upgrade their package by a minimum of 25% with prior written consent from both the current employer and the department.
2.2. Job Offers & Bonds:
Some companies may require students to sign a contract/bond. If a student agrees to this, they must honor the contract as per the employer’s terms.
Students are solely responsible for reading and understanding the job description, salary details, and bond agreements before accepting any offer.
3. Code of Conduct & Disciplinary Actions
3.1. Transparency & Honesty:
Students must provide accurate details regarding their eligibility, academic performance, and backlog status.
External pressure from parents, politicians, or other influential persons to secure placements will not be entertained.
3.2. Institutional Reputation & Professionalism:
Students must not take any action that could harm the reputation of Guru Nanak Institutions (GNI).
Any indiscipline, misconduct, or violation of CCPI/Company rules may result in debarment from placement activities, fines, or revocation of existing offers.
3.3. Commitment to Offered Jobs:
Once a student receives a Letter of Intent (LOI) or Offer Letter, they must adhere to the terms and conditions set by the employer.
Before resigning from an offered job, the student must inform the institution and obtain approval while adhering to company policies.
