Dr. Koduganti Venkata Rao is currently working as Principal and Professor at Guru Nanak Institute of Technology affiliated to JNTU, Hyderabad. He is a distinguished academic leader, researcher, and educator with over 25 years of experience in engineering education. Throughout his career, he has held key leadership positions, including Dean of Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), Dean of Innovation & Product Development (IPD), and Head of the Computer Science & Engineering Department at reputed institutions. His tenure in these roles has been marked by strategic advancements in teaching methodologies, faculty development, and student-focused learning.
Dr. Rao's expertise lies in Cryptography & Network Security, Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain Technology, and Software Engineering. His commitment to academic excellence is reflected in his extensive research contributions, having published over 32 research papers in Scopus-indexed journals. Under his mentorship, four Ph.D. scholars have successfully completed their research, while two more are currently pursuing their doctorates. He has also supervised 40+ B.Tech and 20+ M.Tech/MCA projects, encouraging students to explore innovative solutions in emerging technologies.
