OFFICIALS OF UNIVERSITY OF DETROIT MERCY, MICHIGAN (USA) VISIT GURU NANAK INSTITUTIONS FOR AN INTERACTION SESSION

A team comprising Ms. Weihong Sun, Director International Admission, University of Detroit Mercy conducted an interactive session with students of GNI held on 29 January 2020 under the supervision of Dr. Pamela Chawla, Dean International Affairs, Guru Nanak Institutions. Over 60 students from both GNIT and GNITC and 10 faculty coordinators of various departments participated in this session. Ms. Weihong Sun, Director International Admissions, University of Detroit Mercy was the keynote speaker. Ms. Sun gave a brief introduction about the University, its locations and various programs it is offering to the International Students, Data and Documents required for enrolling in the graduate program, MBA program and for taking transfer, salient features of University like University of Detroit Mercy is a 179 Ranked University in the US, School of Business Administration of the University ranks 16, All the graduate and masters programs of university of Detroit Mercy are ABET-accredited and the university has several other accreditations. Famous tourist attractions near the University were also discussed by Ms. Weihong Sun and finally, the session was winded up by answering all the queries raised by students regarding the admission process.

A REPORT ON 3 DAYS NATIONAL LEVEL WORKSHOP ON AUTOMOBILE AND ADVANCED VEHICLE DYNAMICS

Department of Mechanical Engineering, GNIT has organized a three day national level workshop on “Automobile and Advanced Vehicle Dynamics” from 11/10/2018 to 13/10/2018 in collaboration with organization Indian Society of New Era Engineers (ISNEE). 350 students and faculty from various colleges across India have participated in the workshop. The workshop started with inaugural session at 10:00am with welcome address by Mechanical Department HOD Dr. B. Vijaya Kumar.

After successful completion of two major International Conferences by Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering Guru Nanak Institutions (GNITC & GNIT), Ibrahimpatnam has been conducting 3rd International Conference on Innovations in Electrical and Electronics Engineering (ICIEEE 2018) on 24th & 25th August 2018.

The first six International Conferences (ICIECE - 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016 & 2017) were successfully conducted by the Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering with more than 700 delegates from India & abroad.
