Dr. M. Satchidananda Rao is a Physician by profession and Philanthropist by nature. He is running (i) Barah-Moula-Educational Society (ii) Vivekananada Educational Trust (iii) Vivekananda Educational Society and (iv) Satchidananda Educational Society with the sole aim of imparting quality technical education at affordable tuition fees to poor students in rural areas.
Apart from the Guru Nanak Institute of Technology which is located at Ibrahimpatnam more three Engineering colleges in Karimnagar District are functioning under the administration of the trusts/society. Dr. Satchidananda Rao is also in the Board of Governors of Alliance University, Bangalore which is one of the top 10 private Universities in India.

He is persistently putting efforts to make Panineeya Hospital, Institute of Dental Sciences & Research Centre, a world class institute par excellence. He feels the need to provide an encouraging and motivating atmosphere for the students which in turn would help them to develop into well qualified professional Dentists of tomorrow.
