International Students 
The students of GNIT, inaugurated Vivliografia, literary club on the occasion of Engineer’s Day September 15th, 2015. Principal Dr. Sreenatha Reddy has inaugurated the club, and has given a inspirational speech followed by the Vivliografians took the privilege to give an outline of the club to the participants.
Approximately 130 attended the inauguration ceremony, where the session was proceeded in a very interactive manner giving the students a chance to express themselves.
In the post-noon session, three events were held.
• Speak it in 30 seconds
In this event, the students were given an opportunity to speak out anything, but to conclude it in 30 seconds, enabling them to be precise and to manage the given time in a diplomatic way.
• Big Fight
In other words a debate, where the students are tested to not prove a point, but to stick onto the points they speak, with confidence and strength.
• Sell a product
An object was given, which was to be sold. Primary aim was to analyze how far they can take it through without giving up, so as to convince the customers (panel).
14 finalists were chosen from 132 participants. These finalists are promoted to the next round which would be held in the month of December.
The event went on with a huge success and had a great response from the students.
Prof.K.P.J Reddy, IISC, Bangalore has enlightened the importance and the application of short waves in his talk with the title “Exciting world of shock waves” at 11 am on 30.11.12 in the closed auditorium . All the first year students of GNIT were inspired with the words of Prof K.P.J Reddy, a renowned scientist and the professor. Upon the direction of honorable Managing Director and beloved principal all the B.Tech I year students felicitated the professor with shawl and memento.
Dr. K. Venkateswara Rao, Assoc. Professor & Head of the Department of Nano Technology , JNTUH delivered a lecture on “Nano Technology” to the I B. Tech Students on 17th March 2012.
Awareness Program on Fire and Safety was conducted on 4th November 2011 for I B. Technology Students. Mr. G. Narayana, Safety Engineer has given a demo on prevention of fire in industries and domestic areas.
English Workshop:
English faculty of H&S department have organized a two day faculty Development Programme on “Micro and Macro skills of English” for English faculty on 6 &7 September, 2013 on campus. All the English faculty members of GNITC and GNIT have attended the programme. The resource persons from JNTUH are as follows:
1. Dr.Melissa Helen on “Public Speaking and Presentations”
2. Dr.Shyamala Rao on “Phonetics and Neutralization of Mother Tongue Influence”
3. Dr.Madhavi Kesari on “Functional English and Technical Report Writing”.
National Education Day: In commemoration of an eminent educationalist, Maulana Abul Kalam Azad’s 125th Birth Anniversary on 11.11.13, the college has observed “National Education Day”. In view of this events like seminars, Essay writing competitions are conducted followed by a program in the evening in which Honorable Managing Director, H.S.Saini, Principal Dr.S.Sreenatha Reddy, Prof N.Narendra Kumar, Vice Principal have enlightened the students’ community with their valuable messages on the signification of education. The program ended with the prize distribution to the winners and runners of the events.

National Mathematics Day: Commemorating the 126th birth anniversary of Sri Srinivasa Ramanujam, the mathematic genius, GuruNanak Institute of technology, conducted a program titled “ANANTHA-2013”. 26 students gave power point presentations on Applications of Engineering mathematics on 23rd December -2013. The students participated in the event with enthusiasm. The Vice Principal, Prof.Narendrakumar gave away the prizes to the winners. Mr.Adithya Raj of MechA & Mr. Ravi Patel of Civil A bagged the first and second prizes respectively
