GNIT students triumphed in Table Tennis and National level level volley ball tourney
M. Santhosh of B.Tech 1st year and Prashanth of 2nd year Mechanical from GNIT have won laurels to the institution by winning the Table Tennis tourney organized by JNTUH-C Zone at Narasimha reddy Engineering College, during Feb-2014. Total of 21 teams across all Engineering Colleges have participated and the students from GNIT won the Trophy. The Vice Chairman, Managing director, principal and Vice-Principal have congratulated them on their winning the trophy.
Also, the winners of the above trophy along with GNITC students have won the TT championship in ATHLEMA2K14, a national level sport festival organized by MVSR Engineering College during March 12, 13& 14. The management and the faculty extended their congratulations to the winners on their success.
In the Same tourney Mr. Prashanth Sharma , Mr.Adithya Raj of Mech I year and Mr.Chandan , Mr. Chndra of CSE II year along with GNITC students have won Volley Ball trophy in the ATHLEMA 2K 14 ,A national level Sports festival Organized by MVSR Engineering college, during March12&13, 2014.
This volley ball team also have clinched the runner-up place in the District level sports meet organized by Siddartha Engineering college during March 10 & 11, 2014.

Students of GNIT in association with the students of GNITC won laurels to the Institution by winning runner-up position in “Sri C.Bhoomaiah Memorial IV Cricket Tournament” at Nishita College of Engineering during 11th March to 2nd April, 2014.
In this tournament, 45 teams of JNTU affiliated colleges have participated. Mr. P. Abhilash of ECE Final year, Capitan of GNI Team has bagged “The Best Bowler of the Tournament” award. The team was felicitated with shields.
The Management, Principal, Vice Principal, HODs and the faculty members of GNI congratulated them on this occasion.
