About The Department :

The Department of Civil Engineering was established in the year 2008. The Department offers a four-year UG course leading to B.Tech in Civil Engineering. The department has fully equipped laboratories and all infrastructures to meet the academic requirements.

The department has highly experienced faculty with industry and research experience. The faculty of the department continues to strive hard to all round progress and facilitates to improve employable capabilities of the students. Technical knowledge is updated to the students by conducting workshops/ conferences/seminars. The faculty renders technical advice to industry and is very keen to develop institute and industry interaction.


Scope :

The scope of Civil Engineering Department is very wide. The department is molding the students in Structural Engineering, Concrete & Highway Engineering, Remote Sensing & Geographical Information System, Surveying and Environmental Engineering.

To be a center of excellence in Education and Research in the field of Civil Engineering Technology.

Programme Educational Objectives (PEOs)

PEO1: Graduates shall have the ability to apply knowledge across the disciplines and in emerging areas of Civil Engineering for higher studies, research, employability and handle the realistic problems.
PEO2: Graduates shall have good communication skills, to possess ethical conduct, sense of responsibility to serve the society, and protect the environment.
PEO3: Graduates shall have strong foundation in academic excellence, soft skills, managerial skills, leadership qualities and understand the need for lifelong learning for a successful professional career.
